Submission & Open Access Overview

JDSTC charges zero Article Processing Charges (APCs). All accepted manuscripts are published under immediate Diamond Open Access (CC-BY 4.0) at no cost to authors, fully funded by Quantum Science and Technology Pvt Ltd in partnership with the Deep Science & Technology Consortium. The initial double-anonymized peer review typically takes 4–6 weeks for the first decision, utilizing at least 2 independent expert reviewers.

Author Guidelines

Manuscript Preparation

Authors must prepare their manuscripts according to the following guidelines to ensure smooth processing through the peer-review workflow:

  • Language: All manuscripts must be written in English. Non-native English speakers are encouraged to have their manuscripts professionally proofread before submission.
  • Title: The title should be concise, specific, and informative (maximum 20 words).
  • Abstract: A structured abstract of 200–300 words is required, summarizing the background, methods, results, and conclusions.
  • Keywords: Provide 4–6 keywords that are specific to the research topic.
  • References: All references must be in Roman script. Use APA 7th Edition citation style. Ensure that all cited works are listed in the reference list and vice versa.

Manuscript Structure

Research articles should follow the IMRaD structure:

  1. Introduction — Background, research gap, and objectives
  2. Methods — Research design, data collection, and analysis procedures
  3. Results — Key findings with tables and figures
  4. Discussion — Interpretation of results, implications, and limitations
  5. Conclusion — Summary and future directions

Data Availability

Authors are required to include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscript. Where possible, datasets should be deposited in a publicly accessible repository and referenced via a DOI.

Ethical Requirements

Research involving human subjects or animals must have obtained approval from an appropriate ethics committee. The approval number must be stated in the Methods section.

Conflict of Interest

All authors must disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest that may have influenced the research.

Submission Format

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.docx) or LaTeX
  • Figures: High resolution (300 DPI minimum), submitted as separate files (TIFF, PNG, or EPS)
  • Tables: Editable format within the manuscript
  • Equations: Use MathType or LaTeX notation

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
